Surveillance Video Captures Hooded Gunman Attacking Insurance CEO’s Home in Oregon [WATCH]

A hooded gunman opened fire on the home of SAIF CEO Chip Terhune in the early hours of Friday morning in Lake Oswego, Oregon.

Surveillance footage captured the attack, which came after Terhune received violent threats via email.

The suspect remains at large as law enforcement continues to investigate.

Authorities say the attack occurred at approximately 4 a.m. when the suspect, dressed in dark clothing with a hood or ski mask, fired multiple rounds into Terhune’s residence.

A front glass window was shattered during the attack, according to local reports from KATU.

Surveillance footage released by police on Wednesday shows the gunman holding what appears to be a light-colored object while firing at the home.

Officials believe the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle that was parked nearby.

In an internal email obtained by Fox News, Terhune acknowledged the shooting and referenced prior threats made against him and his company.

“We have received an email threat purporting to be the person(s) responsible.

Although it does not target any specific employee, the email references knowledge of employee and relatives’ names and addresses,” Terhune wrote.

He urged employees at SAIF, a not-for-profit insurance firm, to remain cautious and vigilant.

He also confirmed that law enforcement is actively investigating the matter.

“Law enforcement is working diligently to investigate this matter and asked that we not share any additional specific information about the actual email,” Terhune added.

The shooting comes just months after UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was assassinated outside a Manhattan hotel.

Luigi Mangione, the accused gunman in that case, is awaiting trial for murder.

Authorities discovered a manifesto linked to Mangione containing the phrase “Deny. Defend. Depose.”

Mangione has since become a rallying figure among far-left extremists.

A GoFundMe page linked to his legal defense acknowledges his status among radicals, while left-wing activists have repeatedly attended his court hearings in support.

Additionally, copycat groups have invoked his manifesto to justify further acts of violence.

Portland, a city long associated with radical left-wing activism, has seen an increase in threatening messages directed at corporate executives.

Signs reading “Eat The CEOs” and “Deny. Defend. Depose.” have been spotted around the city and its suburbs, including Lake Oswego, according to independent journalist Kevin Dahlgren.

Authorities have yet to determine whether the attack on Terhune is linked to these broader threats.

Police are working to gather more information on the suspect and the motive behind the shooting.

As the investigation continues, law enforcement is urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.
