Megyn Kelly is Fired Up Over Trump Protecting Women Sports From Biological Men [WATCH]

SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly voiced strong support for former President Donald Trump’s latest executive actions during her show on Thursday, emphasizing that he has upheld his campaign promise to protect women’s rights in sports and beyond.. During a signing ceremony in the East Room, Trump signed an executive order titled “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports,” declaring that the “war on women’s sports is over.”. The event featured young female athletes and advocates who have been pushing for fairness in competition.. Dennis Quaid’s #1 Warning for Americans. On “The Megyn Kelly Show,” Kelly described the moment as a major victory for women and girls in sports.. “Surrounded by young, innocent, fresh-faced girls who just want to play their sports against other girls. That’s all they’re asking. Just for fairness and safety in sport,” Kelly said.. “Something that for many decades has been a foregone conclusion in the wake of Title IX but wasn’t recently. Thanks to Joe Biden, that villain, and his sidekick Kamala Harris, who actually tried to convince us she could do this job.”. Kelly recalled her decision to publicly endorse Trump ahead of the 2024 election, stating that she believed his promise to protect women and fight against policies that allowed biological males to compete in female sports.. I was there specifically. This was my task. I wasn’t asked specifically to do this. But my choice to explain my vote was to tell people that those who are mocking President Trump’s promise to protect women did not understand what he was actually going to do when he took the office. I was voting for him specifically because I believed that promise.”. The host also addressed Trump’s recent signing of the Laken Riley Act, named after 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley, who was murdered by an illegal immigrant in Georgia.. The legislation aims to protect Americans from crimes committed by repeat offenders in sanctuary cities.. Kelly highlighted additional executive actions, including one that formally recognizes sex as binary, reinforcing that individuals cannot biologically change from male to female or vice versa.. “Now what? We’ve had three executive orders, one declaring that sex is binary. There are no trans anythings. You cannot transition from being male to female or female to male. You can pretend, you can call yourself that, do your thing. The rest of us do not have to participate in your delusion, and we will not be saying your pronouns or pretending that your delusion is anything other than unwellness,” Kelly said.. Another major policy shift came on January 28, when Trump signed the “Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation” order. The directive prohibits the federal government from funding, promoting, or assisting with gender transition procedures for minors.. The order also enforces existing laws that restrict or ban these medical interventions.. Kelly pointed to the implications of this measure, stating, “Medicare funds or Medicaid funds” will no longer be used “to chop off the healthy genitals of children in the name of this sick ideology.”. The order defines a child as anyone under 19 years old and classifies “chemical and surgical mutilation” to include puberty blockers, sex hormones, and gender reassignment surgeries.. Polling data suggests these policies have broad bipartisan support.. A New York Times/Ipsos survey from January found that 79% of respondents believed biological males should not compete in women’s sports.. Among them, 94% were Republicans or Republican-leaning, 67% were Democrats or Democrat-leaning, and 64% identified as independents or another political affiliation.. Another Center Square Voters’ Voice Poll conducted by Noble Predictive Insights found that 59% of Americans supported a federal ban on sex-change procedures for minors.. “67% of the Democratic Party is on the same page as Donald Trump on whether we should have boys who pretend to be girls playing in girls’ sports, men who pretend to be women playing in women’s sports. The answer is no. This was immoral. It was evil! And it’s coming to an end,” Kelly said.. With Trump taking swift action through executive orders, the debate over biological sex, transgender policies, and women’s sports continues to shape the political landscape.
