F-16 Fighter Jets Scrambled Over Mar-a-Lago After Planes Violate Trump’s Airspace [WATCH]

Three civilian aircraft violated restricted airspace over Palm Beach, Florida, near President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, prompting North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) to scramble F-16 fighter jets, according to Newsmax host Todd Starnes.

The incidents occurred at 11:05 a.m., 12:10 p.m., and 12:50 p.m., based on Starnes’ reporting.

During two of the interceptions, the fighter jets deployed flares as part of their protocol to warn and direct the civilian aircraft. All three planes were escorted safely out of the restricted airspace.

NORAD and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) have not yet responded to media inquiries regarding the airspace violations, according to DailyMail.com.

The circumstances under which these planes entered restricted airspace remain unclear.

However, similar incidents have been reported in recent weeks.

On February 20, The Palm Beach Post detailed three airspace violations during Trump’s six-day visit to Mar-a-Lago that month.

Two of those violations took place on February 15, while another occurred on Presidents Day, February 17.

A NORAD spokesperson did not disclose the exact locations of the planes over Palm Beach.

However, reports indicate that F-16 jets responded to violations near Wellington, an inland community west of Palm Beach.

Another airspace breach occurred on February 18 at approximately 10:49 a.m., when a civilian aircraft flew into restricted airspace over Palm Beach.

NORAD responded by dispatching fighter jets, which also deployed flares to signal the pilot.

According to NORAD, flares are used with a high degree of caution and are designed to burn out quickly without posing any risk to people on the ground.

A civilian recorded one of the responding F-16 jets on February 18 and submitted the footage to WPTV, an NBC affiliate in West Palm Beach.

The video, taken over Boynton Beach, shows one of the fighter jets deployed during the interception.

With Trump back in office, temporary flight restrictions (TFRs) are now in place around Mar-a-Lago whenever he visits.

These restrictions, set by the FAA, limit unauthorized aircraft and drone activity within designated areas.

According to the National Business Aviation Association, the TFR’s inner core extends 10 nautical miles, while the outer core covers a 30-nautical-mile radius when Trump is at his Florida residence.

As NORAD continues to monitor and enforce restricted airspace, the frequency of these violations raises concerns about airspace security in the region.
