A California sheriff is setting the record straight on the left’s latest immigration hysteria, calling out both the media and radical activists who are interfering with ICE operations.
Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco isn’t mincing words—he says the false narrative being pushed about immigration enforcement is reckless, dangerous, and putting lives at risk, as reported by Fox News.
“It’s all fearmongering,” Bianco told Fox News Digital.
“The reality right now is that the only people that ICE are going after are people who have already been deported for criminal issues. That’s it. The lie that they’re doing raids and that they’re just going through communities, that is an absolute lie spread by activists and dishonest politicians.”

His comments come as left-wing activists in Los Angeles attempt to obstruct ICE efforts, using bullhorns and sirens to warn illegal immigrants of impending enforcement actions.
According to a report from The Associated Press, these groups are actively trying to disrupt federal operations—an effort Bianco warns is both illegal and dangerous.
Bianco, who recently announced his candidacy for governor of California, made it clear that those interfering with ICE are not just making noise—they’re committing crimes.

Bianco stated that they’re “guilty of a crime” and they could absolutely find themselves arrested.
He pointed out that every individual ICE is targeting has already been through the legal process and received a removal order from a judge. These are not people simply seeking a better life—they are repeat offenders who have victimized American citizens before.
“They’ve already gone through the process. They’ve already victimized us in the past. They’re not here to make a better life for themselves. They were here to victimize us, and a judge has ordered them removed. That’s the only people they’re going after.”
Bianco isn’t just concerned about illegal immigrants staying in the country—he’s worried about the violent confrontations that radical activists are inviting by interfering with law enforcement.
“It’s going to cause a confrontation with these federal officers, and people are going to get hurt. Law enforcement is going to get hurt. People are going to get hurt and, more than likely, in some situations, killed, and it is absolutely ridiculous.”
The sheriff slammed the leftist activists, accusing them of blindly following dishonest politicians and media narratives.
“All of these people, they don’t even really know what they’re protesting. They’re protesting because they’re believing dishonest politicians, and they’re believing these activist groups, and it’s unfortunate. It’s very unfortunate.”
Meanwhile, President Trump has made it clear that deporting criminal illegal aliens is a top priority. His firm stance on border security is already having an impact, with reports suggesting that waves of illegal immigrants are reconsidering their plans to cross.
Despite this, Democrat politicians continue to undermine federal immigration laws. Many have outright refused to cooperate with ICE, promising instead to harbor criminal aliens.
“The media should be reporting the truth. The politicians should be telling the truth. But we know that the only way for these politicians to win is to create this divide. There has to be this emotional divide that separates us from race and with sex and all of these different things, and they believe that that works, and it truly doesn’t, and right now it’s just placing people in danger.”
Bianco’s warning is clear: if activists and politicians continue to block immigration enforcement, it won’t be long before someone pays the price.
